Thursday's parting shot

The lights were shining brightly tonight up at Panna II (and the PII extension next door at the former Milon) on First Avenue near Sixth Street.

An EVG reader told us the restaurants were dark last night, with a large family (about six people) standing outside saying they had a reservation. Everyone was confused.

They've had a hard time since being closed during PAUSE. Hours can be irregular because of staffing issues or things to do with kitchen operation. It's been tough watching so many businesses struggle despite doing everything they can and more to stay afloat.

This is a odd theory: I saw a clip of the moviews Bros and I could have sworn the two leads were standing in front of these restaurants debating which one to enter. Maybe they were at a movie showing? I know, it is a stretch.
