Packing up the 1960s on East Ninth Street

After the Coen Brothers filmed scenes for the 1960s period piece "Inside Llewyn Davis" on East Ninth Street yesterday ... crews were on the scene early this morning to pack up the dressed-up storefronts...

Will Good Beer keep the Schaefer sign in the window?

Ah, Schaeffer, a beloved native brand, back when Brooklyn was choc-a-bloc with breweries. My then-best friend's dad drove a delivery truck for them. And my parents always had some in the fridge.
