That's the first "tag" I ever saw that isnt obnoxious indecipherable self-promoting chicken scratch nonsense. While most other grafitti's are pointless and oppressive, this one at least celebrates something for a change. Now I'm inspired to find a wall and scrawl "JOHN PAUL GEORGE RINGO" all over it.

We love tips
Have a story idea or tip about something happening in the East Village? Or maybe a photo? Or several photos? Or video! We'd love to hear about it. Or see it. Or something. Please go here to submit a tip.
By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Those beams are stupid design for contemporary urban environment - the whole building is antisocial and alienating. not that anyone cares..

Nice typography.
Anon 11:16 - who are you? Levticus? Jim Joe? Or someone else with equally as little talent?
Jim Joe is a hack who should be dragged through the street (in a nonpainful way of course) and brought up on charges.
