For reasons unknown to even me, I've been keeping an eye on 424 E. 9th St. between First Avenue and Avenue A. The Moroccan-themed Sintir is planning on opening here...(The owners were denied a beer/wine license in February ... there is opposition from members of the Block Association concerned about the possibility of live music here...)
Work continues at the space... and check out this warning on the front window....
Is that stern warning so necessary?

I got such a negative vibe from this sign that I posted it to my blog and then deleted it. I asked them what kind of place it was going to be and they said a coffee shop and food. I door is nice-it is handmade-was wondering why they were so angry.
Hi Melanie,
Thanks for the comment...There is something seemingly off here, I find...
I just hope they're not looking at the video tapes to find me standing out front taking this photo! CAN'T LET THE AUTHORITIES FIND ME!
So let me get this straight: if I loiter in front of this place they will send a picture of it to the 9th precinct? Then what's supposed to happen?
Fuck this place.
I am going to post my photo of this too!!
The the 9th precinct sends it to the FBI and they send it to the CIA and then they send it to Homeland Security and then your a terrorist and your fucked.
It's pretty obvious they're trying to discourage people from stealing their decorative wood pieces.
i heard the designer invisible:man is opening a store right down the street, how will they get him on video if HE stands out there?
