I've been seeing a dwindling number of pigeons roosting around the lower 14th St vicinity. Could it be Christo and his family with their pigeon control? Pigeons become more numerous as you walk up to the 1st Trader Joe's.

I don't understand the hawk fascination with the frequent media coverage they get. It's depressing because they kill animals where most other birds do not.

Growing up our family never wanted to see a hawk in our yard, because it was a threat to the beautiful birds we were putting birdseed and water out for.

I just don't get it.
