Yeah, this is a pretty great run of films. Especially for free. And particularly given that the days of the art house repertory cinema are now a (beautiful wonderful sadly) thing of the past.

Mostly dismal, obvious picks for the doucebag-hipster set. Not ONE movie that takes place in New York?

While not a bad set of movies, it's not very original. But it fills the park with advertising, which is the primary goal.

Oh for fucking out loud... Yes, it's an obvious set of movies because each of them is, pretty much, a masterful work (Easy Rider; I mean 'cmon)
But most important; ITS FREE.
What's wrong with you people? Run out of things to complain about? How is that possible?

What a dismal, obvious doucebag-hipster set thing to say. I can even picture you stroking your goatee.

I wish they'd show Times Square, part of which was filmed in this neighborhood (Beth Israel as 'New York Neurological'). PAMMY! NIKI! And yes, I agree, list is just OK. My wish list: Taxi Driver, After Hours, Dog Day Afternoon, The Thing, Rosemary's Baby, The Tenant, The Good-bye Girl (original), Hedwig,

@editrrix

Decent list, but half those movies have already been shown in the park previously.
