I actually walked by this building for the first time yesterday. The branding and marketing text all over the work site is actually disgusting.

Again, eye pollution. The saddest thing is that there are actually morons out there that will actually believe the tripe - that by moving into that steel and glass turd they will somehow be imbued with "cool", that they will suddenly become dangerously bohemian, instead of just rich, dumb suckers.

Yeah, this is insanely corny.

The typeface does not exactly scream "the birthplace of cool." Nothing about The Jefferson project does. It's just another corporation trying to mirror what some branding agency says sells as cool in 2013.

Its actually the site where Arthur Weinstein ran an after hours club called 'The Jefferson" (name on the marquee of the Real Estate he turned into this tacky joint) They say when he was busted - he named names and avoided doing time- never opened another club before dying.
