Grant Shaffer's NY See
Here's the latest NY See panel, East Village-based illustrator Grant Shaffer's observational sketch diary of things that he sees and hears around — and above! — the neighborhood.
First helicopters then the fireworks. I wonder if the police depatment are using drones to help them during the protest or whatever police activity they are doing. I remember the fire department using a drone when there was that fire on first ave and 11st, across from the school a few years back. It was cool seeing it on youtube, they were looking for hotspots with their thermal camera.

The !@#$%!!! copters should be banned over NYC. I assume they are NYPD copters.
