Noted

As seen on the front door of a building on Ninth Street... a "Notice to all Residents" about new legislation "that mandates that every resident of the Upper West Side born before July 23, 1996 is now required to listen to a minimum of 200 hours of Fiona Apple before the end of 2020 and every year afterwards."

And the photo is of Emmy Rossum, who used to play a character named Fiona Gallagher on Showtime's "Shameless."

I found it amusing... not brilliant, but amusing

East Village is the new Upper West Side.
Better to have the millennials forced for hours to listen to Lady Gaga, and have a picture of some abstract art in the poster.

Have to admit Fetch the Boltcutters is a great album.

I only have about 120 hours but I think I can make it.

hmm

I'm gonna guess that this person's upstairs neighbor has been playing Fetch the Boltcutters on loop since April which could make anyone bonkers, like when the FBI drove the Waco compound crazy by blasting Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots Are Made for Walking" 24/7

Fiona Apple was a big splash on the music scene a long time ago. She has gone through a lot. She has a soul. Her music is innovative and brilliant.

Haha. Creative and silly, love it! It was great always seeing Fiona Apple around the E. Village open mic scene, and the Bowery Poetry Club, when she was dating Jonathan Ames, just over 10 years ago. She hung out a lot, and read spoken word pieces that were fun and relatable to the audience.
