Saturday's opening shot

Good morning from 141 E. Houston St., where a worker is power-washing the graffiti off the new 9-floor boutique office building here between Eldridge and Forsyth.

Someone made your dreams come true, the red, entrance has been tagged on. I walked right by it the same day I saw the post on here.

I first started writing graffiti in the early 70’s at 12 years old in Queens. Big fun.

Regardless if someone doesn't like or approve of this new building, smearing graffiti on this or anywhere is vandalism, which is illegal, and should not be condoned nor celebrated by anyone on this thread or in our community. Whomever did this should be held accountable, pay for the damage or be ticketed with an enormous fine. Not cool! Grow up and get up a life kiddos.

I’ll post the obligatory I miss the Sunshine Cinema post (and I do!)

What's up with The Dunkin Donut 6th street first Avenue? Talk about graffiti, almost as bad as the Burger King on Delancey Street. Can't believe all this graffiti back again!
Owners should be given 48 hours to clean up.

Who's taking bets on how long this abomination is going to remain empty? I just don't see companies lining up to rent office space on Houston Street.

Hard to compare paint on a building with wanton, permanent destruction of a whole beautiful historic building that used to be here—a whole other dimension of “vandalism”.

Especially as so many more people are working from home.
