The music played at the new bar comes from the iPod owned by the 23-year-old bartender (UES resident?), which makes you long for the quality of, say, Z-100.
Which bar? Need to know so that I can boycott the place.
I've been to similar bars where they have a jukebox, but whenever someone plays something from the '80's or '90's, the bartender unplugs the thing and plays his or her tunes from their iPod.
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Thanks for the comment, Kane. Yeah, I remember a bartender who'd shut off any song played on the jukebox by the Smiths or the Cure.
This new bar I griped about is on Avenue C...want to give them one more chance. Not terrible. But I need to pay them another visit...
