Let's take a quick look inside Michael White's new pizzeria on Second Avenue

We walked by that incoming Michael White pizzeria on Second Avenue at 10th Street yesterday ...

...the plywood is down on the side... (see the first comment — a commenter said there was never any plywood...)

...and the anti-blogger shield hasn't been activated...

Anyway, here's what one portion of the interior is looking like these days...

Per Diner's Journal, Nicoletta's pizzas "will be baked in a gas-fired brick oven but would be 'different, crisper' thanks to both his technique and a flour that is lower in protein."

Nicoletta is on this month's CB3/SLA docket for a sidewalk cafe...

The photo shows a section of wall that never had any plywood to begin with. What's new is the ramp which displaced the garbage cans used by the buildings residents.

OK. Thanks. What happened to the garbage cans? Where are residents supposed to dispose of trash? And were you given any notice about this?

Not being privy to some of the foodies' favorites: Who is Michael White?

@ Uncle Waltie

I never heard of him until reading about this place opening. Apparently he causes foodie boners.

Ooops, I was wrong about there not being any plywood but it has been down for a few weeks. The garbage pails are now further east, directly in front of the empty American Copy Center storefront. I don't know where they will go when it's rented.
