Now the groundfloor is rather sterile looking... (Or as l.e.s.ter once commented, "Holding-Cell Chic.")

god, i miss Waldorf Hysteria and their ilk. i have quite a few items from there. there used to be a lot of places like this 'round the hood; one of the reasons i loved living here.
Me too, Daria... I always liked Gary's on East 4th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue...
I really miss Waldorf Hysteria too. What a great and unique place it was. I have a painting of a horse and chicken barnyard scene that I purchased there which is a treasure.
