Two weeks ago, the Village Pourhouse on Third Avenue at 11th Street closed up the front of the bar and posted notes saying they were "kicking off the new season with a new look." (The Pourhouse remained open though: Patrons had to enter through the 11th Street side.)
An EVG reader noted earlier this evening that the Pourhousers were opening up the doors again and setting up the sidewalk seating for the first time since Aug. 25...
As far as the reader could tell, the space looked the same — at least from the outside.
The Pourhouse is also celebrating its 10th anniversary.

That's a shame. I was looking forward to it being gone for good.
Ugh go away.
Better than having more banks
"Better than having more banks" bank patrons don't scream at night, vomit or get in fights after doing some banking.
Too bad they didn't close. Really shitty patrons who like to get loud and obnoxious.

No, that's what they get the low hanging fruit of the US Military to do for them - hi-yo!
Too bad; was very much hoping they were gone for good. Perhaps if the owners of these places were required to live in the apartment directly overhead of the premises, things might be a little different.
Move to the suburbs if u don't like bars and restaurants. Annoying complainers should move to central nj. But if u did u would complain about the property taxes. The same ones the bars and restaurants pay so u don't have to.

Hold up -- setting aside the beyond-tiredness of this suggestion for a moment, why central New Jersey? I mean, what did Monmouth County ever do to you? Other than charge out the butt for property taxes -- that I will grant you -- but IDK, this seems oddly specific, not to mention you can find a whole lot more boring-ass suburbs in north NJ than in the region that boasts Red Bank and Freehold and Asbury Park (wooo AP!!!). Or what about the Pine Barrens? Its lifelessness is built right into the name! Don't pick on central Jersey, man!
/WOO-HOO!!!s extra loud, vomits in public, breaks shit for my CNJ homies
