This is my building and I supported the outdoor tables because in my observations from when they had them before, it reduced the crowds in front of my door, of which I have zero tolerance for.
Strange, but I can't really hear the crowds, then again I'm on the top floor and don't open my front window.
I did like it better when there were barriers and maybe they'll put 'em up eventually. I dunno. I can ask Jay or Idan sometimes. Great guys.
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

Might not be the best seat, but the food is fantastic. Love me some Westville. If you haven't tried it, do so. Highly recommend the turkey burger!
the food is good and the lines are long and noisy. i'd hate to live above them now that they have outside tables.

I have a similar shot of a place on Second Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets: http://occasionalphotos.wordpress.com/2010/07/27/eating-outside/
