Taco time on First Avenue

EV Grieve First Avenue correspondent Blue Glass notes that the new taqueria has opened here near 10th Street....at the site of the former Western Union. If anyone one checks it out, then please let me know how it is... Apparently there is another location in town too.

Food was good. Decent lunch special. Nice staff. Evidently they have another location further north. Name a neighborhood lunch special we haven't tried.

The awning makes the place look like shit.

Tried this the other night. It's much nicer inside than you would expect, and has about 5 tables to sit down. It's BYOB for now until they get their license. Tried the pork and beef tacos. Both were really tasty and the salsas that came with them were delicious. Overall, the menu is a little pricier than I'd expect for the entrees, but the tacos are reasonable and definitely authentic tasting.

Thanks for the report, Leesy... I picked up a menu today, though I didn't look at it too closely ...
