I played a couple gigs here a decade ago with my old shitty band. The place had a bit of a rough edge to it right down to the house drum kit. I appreciated it though, some places just have a good feng shui about the stage setup and this place is one of them. Good simple rock and roll bar. I was a newbie to the area; I just assumed it had been there for years, it had that lived in vibe. I'm surprised to learn that it was still pretty new at the time.

By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.
