The price of a 99-cent pizzeria is now just $100,000

Mamani Pizza on Avenue A near East 10th Street hit the market back in early October ... and the price for the 99-cent pizzeria has been reduced this week, dropping nearly 23 percent to $100,000, according to the listing at Trulia NYC. That's just about 101,000 slices...

I remember the night 1 one soft opening of this place 4 or 5 years ago. I was a bit drunk. I think they told me I was their first ever customer. Either way, I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and they asked me to stay, eat there, and tell them what I thought of the food and the menu options. It was a decent sandwich (especially for drunk food on Ave A - a culture of which I have long since abandoned since it was taken over by frat brats and clubsters).

But I told them when they asked me - "don't add Pizza to the menu". I told them it was unnecessary and they should stand out with other food. 2-3 months later, they shrunk their space in half with a big pizza counter, and it was crap pizza. They should have listened to me!
