It would be good if the MTA added buses - bus frequency is really important, especially when the weather is bad/cold.

But regarding the increased speed, the failure to acknowledge the elimination of multiple bus stops is dishonest. Fewer bus stops contributes to the reduction in trip time.

Total agreement; nobody is addressing the elimination of bus stops, many of which are critical or at least useful.

The removal of the M14A stop at 9th street and Avenue A is a huge fail, since that was an important transfer point. When I complained about it, a guy I know whose girlfriend is disabled looked at me and said, "You could walk," but in my opinion that's beside the point.

I personally have begun avoiding the A and D whenever possible; there are other fish in the proverbial sea.
