And based on a recent Instagram post, we'll have a little while to wait: "Our new location is still in the process of construction ... We hope to open in the coming months."
El Rinconcito has been serving delicious and inexpensive food here since 1994.

The restaurant is moving to Avenue C near Fifth Street for a year or so while 408 E. 10th St. is being renovated. Sounds as if they will be returning to the building someday.

Wishing them well for their new space. Their food is really good, and it's always had a friendly atmosphere.
Another tree down! As a frequent pedestrian I am beginning to wonder about my safety.

This friendly, family owned, neighborhood restaurant has some of the best food around. Been eating there for many years. I will be watching for news of their new location. Wish they moved a little further West so I don't have to walk so far...but it will be worth it, even if they moved two miles away.
Best mofongo in town. Hope they reopen.
