Back in March, we noted the rather eerie scene inside the former Sea Salt space on Second Avenue two-plus years after it shuttered.... workers have been puttering around inside of late ... and EV Grieve reader Alice caught a glimpse of this table... set for the ghosts of Sea Salt's past, perhaps....
My boyfriend and I just passed by it tonight, so I went online to see if anyone had mentioned how creepy it was that the tables are still all set up in there!! It looks haunted. I looked at photos of the original restaurant and it looked so lovely. Very spooky..

By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

That is a very eerie scene. So strange it has been shuttered for so long with tables fully set.
Great picture!
