Jesus Christ, is there ONE online mention of the Ramones ANYWHERE in the world where Monte Melnick doesn't show up to flog his ancient book? Give it a rest, the announcement of a memorial is no place for your tasteless - and endless - greed!

It's not really a memorial if you have to pay to get in, and then pay for drinks. The Bowery Electric is making their money, why not Monte Melnick?

Because he already made a ton of money off them.
