Today in Steve Croman legal news

The Real Deal reports:

• Commercial brokerage Daniel T. Enterprises won a court battle against landlord Steven Croman for non-payment of a commission on a $5.5 million off-market deal for a tenement building at 635 E. Sixth St.

• "TRD has learned that Croman’s longtime legal counsel, Rose and Rose, filed suit in September for more than $720,000 in unpaid legal fees." (In a statement, Croman reps denied these allegations.)

Meanwhile, Croman remains under investigation by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman for allegedly using illegal tactics to force rent-stabilized tenants out of their units.

Gojira, the whole point of real estate is to ruin the lives of some people so that a few lucky people can be happy. You must have missed that class in high school. It was called Antisocial Studies.

Not to defend this shitbag, but Steve Croman gave myself and the other people in my building a sh*tload of money to tear up our leases in 2007. Each of the five lease holders in our building got $200k.

Anonymous...You will be lamenting a year down the road that you caved into a buyout to surrender your apartment and rent regulated status. $200K is a small amount to give up your legal protections under the Rent Control or Rent stabilization. You'll spend down that money real fast by paying market rate rents to live in the boondocks.

IZF - It's not just Rose & Rose -the Cromans now have sleazy in-house-lawyers to work in their Croman Real Estate office (so that they can be under Croman's thumb and be personally monitored by him to do Croman's dirty work of using the courts to harass tenants and empty out his buildings, then renovate and reap profits. Croman's new low-life lawyers sub-contract the court grunt work to other lawfirms. Don't forget Croman's depraved dirty dishonest Property Managers and sicko ex-cop Private Investigator Anthony Falconite who was reduced to desk duty and was actually issued a cease and desist order by the NYS Attorney General. Croman's Dick Falconite and filthy Property Managers will conspire to do anything to ruin any person's life for money and the commission they make on anyone they get out. It's been reported that Croman pays anyone $3,000K for any person they get out. You will find these sleazebags in landlord tenant court every single day, falsely testifying, perjuring and fabricating stories on witness stand... they'll do or say anything to get a person out and to make commission money.

The Cromans and co-conspirators lawyers, their Falconite dick, low-life property managers and employees are pure evil.
One day they all will be punished and made to pay for all their evil deeds and for the lives they have destroyed.
