A sunny spring day disrupted by SantaCon flashbacks

As seen on First Avenue and 10th Street today by Mary Jane Glaser...

For the love of God, and the ongoing Covid 19 crisis, I hope the city cancels this hideous, lame event which never fails to terrorize us each passing year.

Doubtful, unless a state of emergency is still in place by the state in December.

Prediction: The city will designate SantaCon as an essential public service, and the event will claim to be a fundraiser for all the bars that have suffered though the pandemic, resulting in the largest turnout in SantaCon history. The result will be an outbreak of a new virus called SantaCovid-20, which for some reason only affects people who like to dress up as gift wrapped boxes, cute elves and drunk Santas. Few of the participants survive, making this the last SantaCon ever. The end.

Am I the only one who feels like they went through a PTSD episode seeing this photo? I had a flashback to the Santa fight I saw on 10th Street last year shudders

I'm no fan of Santacon but it is a creative, cool photo and I'm far from a bro.
