And today they opened at 8 a.m. No line. At 8:45 anyway.

And not all that boisterous inside...
...and the McSorley's bus idles outside to take people to the St. Patrick's Day today...
And no — the driver doesn't take requests to drive people out to the middle of nowhere and leave them.
[And yes on that headline.]

PBR? The Horror!
The only alcoholic beverage I ever put out on the sidewalk was a 4-pack of PBR. One can got consumed by a former friend of mine - the second one was taste-tested by me (one sip that had to be spat out) the other 4 cans I left on the sidewalk. However, they were gone in the morning. PS: Nobody's ever accused me of being an elitist.
I think that bus came to McSorley's via Peoria!
It worked! Your hits from New Jersey are up 1,000%.
Except for real: Do they open at 8am tomorrow? They did last St. Pat's Day...same this year, even though a Sunday?

I asked one of the guy's today... he said noon. Ditto for their Facebook page.
@ EV Grieve - thanks. Just saved me hours of fighting with my probably not sober friends in line at 6am tomorrow morning...
omg it’s St. Patrick’s Day! A little history from a mick: he was the patron saint of Stay the Fuck Home Unless You Want to Be Vomited On By Drunken JAPS in a Fake Irish Bar.
As for McSorley's, which isn't a Fake Irish Bar fwiw, they can't open at 8am since it's a Sunday. They can't serve liquor before noon. Although they'vve ben doing that since who knw when, but with they've been careful ever snce Bloomberg's henchmen, the DOH, has been a gestapo about closing bars and restaurants.
