With all the "fresh" pizza available in the neighborhood (at prices that are iiiinnn-saaaane), why are the student idiots downstairs always leaving stacks of Papa John's pizza in the hall?
NYC, what a horrible pizza town. I know we technically still got the originals, the Lombardi's and Grimaldi's and what not, but sooner or later those establishments will decamp to Vegas or Dubai or wherever else people go to sell out, and we'll be left here with the Two Bro's.
Maybe now that cheapo slices are soooo close, all these young yahoos might leave their apartments and then actually go into the East Village Grocery next door instead of calling in orders. In the past few months, the guys in that place are constantly running around filling delivery orders and barely anyone is inside to buy toilet paper, beer and sundries by themselves. How lazy are these kids?

"Fresh" is little because the pizza is just a little fresh.

I'll stick with Artichoke. And Stromboli. And baking my own at home.

Back in the late 80s, even Spike Lee knew that Manhattan was not the place for pizza any more.
