Ken Auletta's a pretty good writer, but his New Yorker article on the mayor went much too easy on its subject. Besides Stop and Frisk, the only major scandal mentioned was Cathie Black. Zero mention of the Blizzard, City Time or the faulty 911 call center- the latter two being two of the worst examples of graft and cronyism in recent memory.
