Please do not loiter in front of the former 7-Eleven on St. Mark's Place
[EVG file photo from March 2013]
When the 7-Eleven was still open on St. Mark's Place, it was an attractive spot for camping out.
Now that it is closed, the vacant storefront at the corner of Second Avenue remains an attractive spot for camping out.
Which might be why there are now some homemade "no loitering" signs taped along the empty property...
The space remains for rent.

The crew was out in front of Block drug this morning.
Any chance we could borrow a few campers for the 7-11 on Ave A?
@9:25 am -- That is a GREAT idea!
From what I observed, they are stashing (what VERY much looks like) drugs inside of the lamp posts. I noticed one of them open the latch at the base of the post, locate and pull up a 5 foot piece of twine and unwrap a little package. Brilliant!
"No Loitering"? How about "NO 7-11"????
The only thing worse than 7-11 is a bunch of Crusties who think they're sticking it to the man by getting high all day and aggressively panhandling people who they view as wage slaves.
They aren't loitering. They are expressing their right to hate their parents.
Well if they're waiting for the 7-11 to reopen they're sadly mistaken.
