It's sad because Joselito's was truly one of the last neighborhood places, where folks from the adjacent projects can hang out, have dinner, socialize. I went there many many times, and it's was a great place. I can't imagine Delancey Street having the same feel. For those neighbors, it is completely out of the way, and where it is now is on a strip that has no local identity due to all the gentrification in LoHo.
Eat at Adele's on Avenue C and El Nacional on 1st Ave. while you still can.
