(Every Day Is) Halloween: At the Ricky's Pop-up Shop on East Houston

Given that Halloween is like two weeks away, we stopped by the Ricky's Pop-up Halloween store in the Shoppes of Red Square along East Houston. To see what was what.

There is a lot of crap stuff to choose from.

Like wigs!

And accessories!

And costumes for couples!

And Jedi Knight posers!

A lot of the costumes are pretty much the same as the last time as when it was a Halloween City a few years ago… (except for the Mitt Romney masks)

Maybe buy this to join the crew hanging out across the street from the Bowery Hotel...

And not really sure where to categorize these two...

This is great post, thank you EV Grieve. I like the "Bachelor’s Pipe", I am getting Peter Van Nostrand vibe from it.

I see Ron and Sheila Albertson wearing this….

I think it would be a fun job to come up with these things, but I gotta admit I prefer homemade costumes!

This is great reporting. No wonder the Village Voice picked you as the best.

This year I was hoping to go as kale, a vegan taco or an artisanal biscuit.

Anony 1.44 PM got me thinking. Where are the BRO and the "White Girl Wasted" costumes? After all, this is the EV.

Headless man. Very cruel given the times

Crazy Eddie, there's no White Girl Wasted costume because that's how they are dressed everyday in the EV.

I love how you hip folks use phrases like "white girl" and "white boy" in such a cool, dismissive fashion! Yeah them "white folks" are so lame, no doubts about that!

Now that is really "with it!"
