The Anthropocene might be a little upset from being turned down for the vacant Landmarks chair. I guess de Faustio felt his donation was too small.

January-April: Let’s play “Where’s Joe & Pat’s? It was like “Where’s Waldo?” but with a pizza theme. Chronicling the longest East Village “Coming Soon” campaign since DF Mavens took longer than 12 months to open in the middle of a blizzard, then closed just a year later in the middle of a snowstorm.
May: Welcome back Crusties! There were two large encampments on St. Marks Place this week rolling out the red carpet for the late arriving Crusties that are yet to come. I even saw one getting dropped off from a Mercedes SUV with Connecticut license plates. Welcome back Crusties, we missed you!
Also May: NYU Moveout day and annual analysis of all the valuable items they throw away, from flat screen TVs and furniture to dozens of full bottles of shampoo.
June: Street fair! Street fair! Who really needs more tube socks, and what happened to the free samples of kettle corn?
July: Part 1: Celebrating the permanent return of the Macy's Firework display to the East Side where it belongs.
July Part 2: Complaining about all the garbage people left behind in East River Park, not to mention all the plants they destroyed with their children, dogs and barbecues.
August: Steve Croman gets out of jail, and why he should go back there immediatley.
September: NYU Move in day, aka NYUs Annual Lets Not Support Any Local Merchants Day
October: The dog parade was way too crowded again, plus Annual Rickys Halloween ridiculous costume edition.
November: Where's’ Joe & Pat’s?
December: How SantaCon ruined the holiday spirit, and why is Gothamist still asking us to donate to their Kickstarter?
