This classic coffee cup brings up a certain nostalgia. It's the same individuals who say that New York City is long dead either because of gentrification or it's no longer cool for various reasons not at all conducive in today's world.

Meanwhile, the city has evolved over the decades and gotten more global. Just look at the array of foodie options and the diverse group of people who partake in the city which this blog likes to emphasize.

Gee, you’re awfully touchy about a coffee cup. New to the neighborhood?

Reminds me of the t-shirt in the 80s: "Welcome to New York. Now go home!"
