Updated 3/29: Bubbleology Tea has reopened.
The DOH has temporarily shuttered Bubbleology Tea, the London-based chain that opened at 120 1/2 First Ave. between Seventh Street and St. Mark's Place in early February.
The report from the inspection, which took place yesterday, has yet to be posted online.

I saw people lined up around the block when this place first opened. Waiting in the cold for an hour just to purchased whatever they were selling in there. I wonder if they still will do so after seeing this.
Huh. Looks like the chain wasn't the only thing that had legs.
This is a brand new establishment. What in the world happened here? Certainly not a great start. What a cruel way to lure customers. After this, not me.
This is the place that has a liquor license to sell bubble tea, Great now they have a liquor license and it looks like they have no idea what they are doing. Way to go Community Board 3, great decision.
