Just Lovely, too bad the matching cherry across the entrance died last year😥

Earlier this morning as I sauntered past this magical tree unicorn, I heard a rustling and to my surprise when I gazed at this majestic pink morphed tree unicorn I witnessed Faeries, Angels, and Sprites twerking in the upper NW branches.
I do not know what is going on but this is kind of inappropriate.

Glad to see some color coming out of spring. We won't see much green grass in Thompkins Sq park however. The Parks department never closed the lawns for multiple weeks to allow the grass to regrow. I'm afraid it's all going to turn to dirt with the large amount of people using it every week. It's going to be a muddy summer.

@ anon 10:24 The other tree didn't die! It blooms several weeks later. I noticed the buds on it the other day. Although both my husband and I are convinced that they both bloomed at the same time the first year they were planted. The second year, we thought the other had died but it came out in full splendor 2-3 weeks later and continues to do so.
