The plant-based Tamam Falafel took over this space from 5 Napkin Burger Express in January 2021.

smart move, probably do better business on a different street. 14th street is not a good place to open a restaurant, one of the worst streets in all of nyc.
Price point too high for Falafal and had odd off-putting menue choices
Having tried Tamam a couple of times, I can say with confidence that it will NOT be missed :-)
It wasn't a restaurant, 4:07, just a counter service.
And yes, the price was too high, but nothing too odd on the menu. Pretty similar to many falafel counters in Tel Aviv.
The best falafel I’ve ever had. Really hope they open farther down in EV. We need more falafel.
OH NO- our Go to vegan place … never disappointed
