Village Style has left the East Village
Back in August, we reported that the Village Style Vintage Shop at 111 E. Seventh St. was moving to Bushwick this fall ... leaving behind its storefront here between Avenue A and First Avenue...
Workers cleared out the space late last week...
The space has been on the market ... with an asking rent of $9,750 per month.
The shop, part of the L Train Vintage family, also operates No Relation Vintage clothing on First Avenue between 12th Street and 13th Street.
Ownership did not offer a reason for the move.
Thanks to Steven for the photos; H/T EVG reader Marty E.

More empty store fronts here https://skeetmotis.blogspot.com/search/label/empty%20store
What we really need here is a bookstore. Yes, I'm serious.
There used to be a great used bookstore in that space back in the early 90's.
I doubt anything other than a restaurant will fit in now.

That's what I'm saying; Gani Remorca was the most amazing buyer and seller around.
And Tompkins Square Books and Records was the best hangout on Friday nights!
5 years ago I went here weekly. The prices were deeeeecent. Jacked up the prices recently. Sad to see it go.
Book store, late night puppy store, Trump campaign headquarters. Sad!
How about a marijuana dispensary???
How 'bout a book/record/dvd/clothing/general/consignment store?
Somewhere you can walk into and not know what you're gonna find and it's not just one thing like books.
Put bulletin boards up along one wall for everyone to post whatever on it (flyer for your show, drummer wanted ad, lost pet, neighborhood resident service, poem, unflattering pic of your ex lol.)
