So long summer...

Summer isn't officially over... just ceremoniously with the arrival of Labor Day Weekend. (Don't worry — according to The Wall Street Journal, you can still wear white jeans past Labor Day.)

So The Summer of Bees™ prediction didn't really pan out.

Anyway, so long Moira ... Katie ... crusties ... storm clouds ... fake human kidney ... (these were all among the most popular EVG posts based on traffic or pageviews or whatever)...

And I've had better summers. You?

Does the WSJ say anything about white Dockers?

@ ken

Yes, as long as they're worn with contempt.

It was a hot summer but not brutally hot, we hit 90 frequently but never really got to 100. I never bothered to put the ac in the window. I expected more violence, frankly.

My summer was a little bit of blah. Maybe the fall will be better.

Summer is a state of mind...

It just popped into my mind yesterday how much I am looking forward to the fall. It was a fine summer, July was brutal, but had some fun. Fall is a great time to be in NYC though.

No one should wear white jeans after 1970.

LOL, Goggla! I agree with that.

@ Hey19

Agreed about the fall ...

@Goggla: I have to hang my head in shame, I wore white jeans in 1972. I was high on blotter acid though, so I have some sort of excuse!

When the blogger starts pandering to the gentrifiers especially the pretty ones, is the death of this blog.

The only thing I'm gonna miss about the summer is the legs. Bring on the fall.
