Baked Cravings opening an outpost on St. Mark's Place
The neon signage arrived yesterday for Baked Cravings, coming soon to 102 St. Mark's Place between Avenue A and First Avenue.
This will be the second location for the bakery that specializes in fresh-baked nut- and peanut-free cupcakes, cakes, brownies and cookies. (Founder Craig Watson has a daughter with food allergies.) Baked Cravings opened in East Harlem on Lexington at 105th Street in 2017.
The bakery takes over the space from Dun-Well Doughnuts, which concluded its three-plus-year run here in February.

Too many bakeries are using almond flour, so this one is very welcomed. That doughnuts place was awful anyway.
Tbh I miss when this spot was pudding.
DunWell Donuts was a great place - delicious donuts and plant based . It will be sorely missed.
Sounds nice, but please could someone open a REAL bakery! Non frou-frou, with real bread and rolls? Such places are all gone from the EV and I miss them,
Dun-Well were delicious when fresh, but man, they turned into frosted cardboard faster than any other baked goods I've ever eaten.
Try C & B for real bread.
@PatriciaKennealyMorrison: Seems the best you can do for now is Le Fournil, the one that replaced Moishe's on 2nd and 7th.
