Limb down in Tompkins Square Park



This branch fell last evening during the storm...



I believe it's part of a Red Oak tree from No Elm Island...



This is the second time in two weeks that a storm brought down a large branch in the Park.

The parks dept. is doing a shit job monitoring trees throughout the boroughs and on the streets. They are too busy arranging outdoor movie nights and advertainment events.

Hey EV, I can't tell you how much I am tickled by your use of the names I gave to the "islands" in the map. But it is sad to think of all the shade that has been lost in the past few years.
