'Snowflake dessert' coming soon to 2nd Avenue

A Bingbox Snow Cream shop is coming soon to 125 Second Ave. between East Seventh Street and St. Mark's Place, per the signage in the front window...

The Bingbox Facebook page describes their product this way: "The finest and purest snowflake dessert to be enjoyed all year round."

The storefront was previously home to E-Nail, which closed last September.

How precious. And the twee-ifying of New York continues.

My money is on a lifetime of 28 weeks, any takers?

@gojira, I'm wondering why a Taiwanese dessert = twee. Can you explain further? Sounds yummy to me, but unfortunately can't really have it due lactose intolerance!

I hope [per the window] you'll still be able to relax and enjoy your snow cream while you get a mani/pedi.

If there's no dairy in it—you can get a snow cream at Snow Days on 10th street, for instance, that contains no dairy at all if you choose dairy-free base + dairy-free toppings—why can't you have it? Are you diabetic as well?

rather see a snowflake dessert than a bank any day

I don't get snow desserts. They leave me cold.

@scuba diva I didn't know they had a vegan flavor! Excited to try! All the vegan frozen dessert places are closing. Not diabetic but do try to only have sugary treats every now and then. Anyway... TMI :)
