A new lease for Three of Cups

Three of Cups has been on the northwest corner of Fifth Street and First Avenue since 1992... and it appears they will be around for longer now. The owners of the Italian restaurant took to social media this past weekend to announce that they had secured a new lease...

They probably signed at a good time, as the gold rush is running out of gold. I haven't been to Three of Cups in a few years, but it's one of those places that I have fond memories of. Their pizza was really good back in the day before we were surrounded by so much really good pizza.

The folks at Three of Cups are the best. I'm excited they are gonna stay.

I remember way back in the day Chris Robinson once hung out here with the Gallagher twats, while their respective bands were doing that shitty "Brothers" tour together.

This is an East Village classic. Anthony is one of a kind. Love this restaurant. Love their pastas, they have a lot to choose from, plenty of specials and vegan options The stuffed artichoke is the best I've had. I eat here a lot, it reminds me of the old days around here. There are a regulars who eat at the bar. Home made tiramisu.

Solid neighborhood place and the outdoor seating is great this time of year...

One of my most significant East Village mainstays, both upstairs and downstairs.

I love Three of Cups! One of the most underrated pizza joints in town and possibly the closest thing to an authentic NY experience you'll find in that part of town these days!

Let's make sure to send them some love by spending a few dollars there. I love their food, music and hospitality. An East Village treasure.

I remember when they first opened. I'd never even heard of roast whole garlic before. Mind blowing. Haven't been in years.

Thank goodness! Now, everyone go spend a few bucks there! Their rent was raised so help them out! Go to the places you love before they disappear!

Never been "upstairs" but used to frequent "downstairs" and once saw James Iha there with a blonde arm candy.
