Where to find True Crime in the next few weeks
The Film Forum has a True Crime series running though Aug. 5, screening such classics as "Badlands," "Birdman of Alcatraz" and "The French Connection," among many many others. ("In Cold Blood" screens today.) You can find the calendar here.
Hey there's that place over on 5th st between first and second ave, that's where true crime really begins. Aided with those down at one police plaza and the criminal courts. It's time for the new Frank Serpico to emerge, his realm now goes worldwide.
