3. Kushner East Village properties: introduction
We don't exactly know exactly what will transpire tonight... In recent months, The Kushner Companies have bought up 28-29 or so East Village walk-up buildings... One resident put up a meeting notice in her building... which a Kushner employee promptly tore down... (the notice, not the building).

Well, we did learn that they intend to construct extensions on their buildings.
Jeez, of course.
Did they say how many buildings might get extensions?
They said they will build when they see fit. The committee member who asked about it responded, "we'll see you in court then," which is perfect since historically that's how most landlords end every conversation with me.
