On Saturday,
an EVG reader told us that Tink's had abruptly closed on East Seventh Street between Avenue A and First Avenue.
A sign outside the cafe noted: "No more. It's been real."
We don't know what the reason was for the closure. There isn't any mention of the closing on the cafe's social media properties. The family-run business opened at 102 E. Seventh St. in October 2012.

Wasn't that good. Might have had something to do with it.
There are signs up on the door that say it's under new ownership. "Stay tune."
If only I were IN tune to begin with!
I really liked them. A lot. Wife didn't. Apparently there were more that agreed with my wife than me. Damn....
It was a weird name. No one wanted to say "I'm going to Tink's."
I've never even heard of the place.
Too many restaurants in this area now. Their food looks good and I even live nearby, but market saturation is a thing.
I liked the food the one time we ate there--and we were able to get a table for 8 on short notice, but WHO hangs a television in a restaurant? Bad enough in a bar, but a restaurant??
