Bed-Stuy is the new East Village

Well, at least according to this listing at Craigslist…

Per the ad:

BedSty is new East Village but with out east Village price tag.
Perfect share for students, young professionals welcome.
Bring your cats and dogs with you.

The three-bedroom apartment is asking $2,500.

You will likely have to invest in a toilet-paper holder, though.

What would Spike Lee have to say about this?

Nice toilet paper. The best way to drum up sales is conjuring up thoughts of a deuce.

I lived in Bed-stuy for 14 years. They doubled my rent and I had to leave. I now live in the east village. Go figure.

"Available ASAP , please call to schedule an appointment to view" only works when a phone number is provided.

A lot of people in this neighborhood have free-standing toilet paper holders, about three feet high. Doesn't look like it would work in this bathroom, though.
