It’s a great block party, but Im sure I’ve seen some of the same items on sale for the past 10 years. So if you missed out on it this year don’t worry, you can probably buy the same thing next year.

ahahaha, great pix. love the looming Twilight towel (blanket? wall hanging?) and the casual convo between neighbors with two creepy dolls casually tucked under the dude's arm.

Every year the day of the block party is both happy and sad: to experience this block without moving and parked vehicles as a place for people to come together is exhilarating. To have that only one day in a whole year is just depressing. This occurrence can happen once a month, even without the flea market and the music and all the wonderful things the block association organizes. Closing the block for motor vehicles does not affect the traffic situation around and can provide such a relief from noise and air pollution, stress free environment for so many people .
