EVG correspondent Steven spotted this earlier today in Tompkins Square Park... someone left an anti-war recording on a tree using three plastic cups as a holder as well an amplifier for the sound...
The device remains in place as of this afternoon, though the recording has stopped...

not to be a prig but won't these disturb the hawk families? i'm all for the concept but maybe not in the middle of the park?
@not-a-prig: If it was put up by squirrels (and the placement indicates strongly that that is exactly what happened), then disturbing the hawks might have been exactly their purpose.
It's a jungle out there.
